LPGA*USGA Girls Golf sites are run by local Site Directors who receive support from the LPGA Foundation and the USGA. We equip our Site Directors and coaches with resources to help them create and deliver fun and transformative golf programming for juniors. A Girls Golf Site Director’s primary roles include:
- Creating a safe and engaging environment for the girls
- Serving as the leader and main contact for the program
- Securing a golf course or practice facility
- Identifying and recruiting participants
- Recruiting golf instructors and volunteers
- Organizing, fundraising, planning events, and implementing programming
- Applying for LPGA Foundation Grants to support your program
- Regularly reporting to and communicating with the LPGA Foundation
- Nominating members for special events and scholarships
